Every Golf Exchange offer is personalised. We look at the brand, model, specification and condition you describe, along with any photos. The more accurate your description, the more accurate your offer, and the less chance it changes after inspection.

Give us the full specification

The model name is a start, but details matter. Include the loft, the shaft and its flex, whether it's left or right handed, and anything special such as a limited edition or custom colour. For iron sets, list exactly which irons are included.

Clean them first

Dirt hides the true condition of a club. A quick clean of the heads, grooves and grips makes it easier to judge condition accurately, from photos and when the clubs arrive.

Take clear photos

Photos are optional, but they help. Shoot in good light and show:

  • The face, where wear shows most
  • The sole and the back of the head
  • The shaft and its label
  • Any marks, dents or damage, close up

Be honest about condition

Choose the grade that genuinely matches the club and mention anything we should know: scratches, dents, worn grips, missing headcovers or repairs. If clubs arrive in a different condition from the description, the offer may change. You can always reject a revised offer and we'll pay to return your clubs.

Don't wait too long

Clubs typically lose value over time as newer models arrive. If you've already replaced a club, trading it in sooner rather than later usually works in your favour.
